Was born in Cairo , Egypt in 1977. He studied sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and graduated in 2000. He had pHD degree in sculpture in 2015. He practice sculpture and teach it since 2000.
He participated in many local and international exhibitions like Venice biennially 2015 representing Egypt. And in the Egyptian academy in Rome
2014. He was awarded in the 16th and 17th youth Salon in Cairo 2004, 2005.
Abdelfattah's early work adopted abstract style relying on geometrical treatments, studying relationships between aesthetical proportions of forms and volumes. This was revealed in his participations in Aswan symposium for granite, 2009, 2010.
After the Egyptian revolution he started doing hyper realistic sculptures Which were exhibited locally in (shift delete 30) exhibition at Saad Zaghlol art center and (Supermarket) exhibition at Algazira art centre 2012. And in Dubai in (Almawlid) exhibition at Ward art gallery. Where he believes that the hyper realistic work reduces the gap between sculpture and the audience.
